About Us
Successful change requires buy-in, and unpersuasive communications from leaders results in failure – meaning slow (or no) adoption, less productive employees, higher turnover, and disappointing ROI. Training leaders to communicate more effectively is a linchpin of successful change. Our proven approach reduces the risk of failure and helps ensure that companies’ investment in transformation pays off.
Jack Goodman Communications delivers strategy and training programs designed specifically for each organization, based on input from leaders who need to drive change within their own teams. Our clients report measurable improvements in their communications effectiveness, ranging from increased collaboration among groups and departments to more aligned and persuasive messaging across all levels of the organization.

LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATIONS workshops
We take leaders through an outcomes-based, hands-on application of effective communications and change management principles, using real-life scenarios and challenges. Each workshop is tailored to reflect our clients’ specific business and communications priorities.
CUSTOM COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY
Just as every organizational change is unique, so is every good change communications strategy. It starts with a solid understanding of the business strategy, the operating environment and what the organization wants to achieve with the changes it’s putting in place.
FAQ: Leadership Workshops
Who should attend the workshops?
The communications workshops are designed for leaders at all levels, however, we often begin by training the executive team, especially when there needs to be an overall narrative developed for a company-wide change program. If the focus is on communicating team or group-specific initiatives, the participants are usually the leaders from these groups.
What are the deliverables from the workshops?
While the workshops are tailored to each client company’s specific use case, the deliverables from every session will include a priority list of communications challenges, a core set of high-level messages and either a tactical action plan with recommended vehicles and messengers or a customized “elevator pitch” for each participant.
How long are the workshops?
The length of each workshop depends on the objectives for the session and the number of attendees. A typical virtual session might comprise a 90-120 minute live, online segment, followed by an offline “homework” assignment, and concluding with a 90-120 minute live segment. However, sessions can be as short as two hours or, in the case of in-person workshops, as long as 1-2 days.
How many leaders should attend the workshops?
While workshops for senior executive teams typically include 8-15 attendees, we are completely flexible about the number of participants. In general, the smaller the group, the more active participation from each attendee. However, we often work with groups of up to 150 participants, and use smaller breakout “rooms” (either virtually or in-person) for the practical exercises.
